  3. Visitors entering the campus: The school has established a single entry/exit checkpoint. When visitors enter the campus, they must fill in the “Health care survey” and their body temperatures will be measured with an infra-red device. Visitors can only enter the campus if their body temperature is normal. Visitors are not allowed to enter the campus after 17:00 on a weekday or during holidays. For visitors who have not reported their visit beforehand, the peer or student they are visiting must meet the visitor at the checkpoint before they are allowed to enter. If one of the following applies to the visitor, they shall not enter the campus:
    1. No specific person they are visiting (example: Sales persons, etc.)
    2. Abnormal body temperature (ear temperature ≥ 38°C)
    3. Persons under home quarantine, home isolation, or self-health management.
    4. Persons displaying flu symptoms are not allowed in the campus. If visitors must enter the campus, they must wear a surgical mask for the entire duration of their visit.
  4. Health management of staff and students:
    1. Self-health monitoring: Please be aware of respiratory symptoms, such as fever, cough, or non-allergy runny nose. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please wear a mask and seek medical attention immediately.
    2. Improve personal hygiene habits: Increase the frequency of hand washing, respiratory hygiene, and coughing etiquettes (example: Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze; wash your hands after blowing your nose) and properly dispose of mouth and nose excretions. Try to avoid crowded, ill-ventilated public areas. Please follow the Health Education and Awareness guidelines.
    3. Use soap to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds. If your hands are not dirty, you can use hand sanitizer to clean your hands. Do not touch your eyes, nose, and mouth without washing your hands.
    4. Sterilization and cleaning of the environment for the sterilization and cleaning of frequently touched surfaces (e.g. Door handles, table tops, light switches, or other public areas), you can use a 1:100 (500ppm) bleach solution to clean the surfaces. Bleach for the disinfection of offices and classrooms will be provided by the Office of General Affairs. Bleach for the disinfection of dorm rooms will be provided by the dorm office.
    5. Keep rooms well ventilated: Open all windows and vents to create air flow. Maintain the operation of ventilation equipment. If the environment is an enclosed space, all windows should be opened and ventilation fans should be turned on. If it is not necessary, try not to use the air conditioner.
    6. For the health and safety of all students living on campus, if a student is diagnosed with the flu or is taking flu medication, the student will be asked to return home and conduct self-health management for 5 days. If the student is suspected of being infected with novel coronavirus, the student will be asked to follow the Ministry of Health and Welfare guidelines and seek treatment.
    7. Strengthening reporting measures: If any students, staff, or visitors are suspected of being infected with novel coronavirus or the flu, please report the situation to the Division of Health Services (EXT 5813), Office of Environmental Safety and Hygiene (EXT 5554), or the reporting hotline (03-2118-334).
